This month, I talked about 8 science fiction novels by female authors that have had an influence on who I am as a writer and a reader.
At Oktopus Ink, our mission is to publish science fiction and fantasy for young adult and new adult audiences that address the diversity we see reflected in the world around us. Each member of our team has their own reasons for this, but in my case, it’s because diverse science fiction has always driven me to think harder about the things in my own world.
