In the past couple of weeks, I’ve been doing some major overhaul work on this blog. Mainly, I’ve been making changes, but I’ve also done a few additions.
- Changed “About” page: I modified this page to make it less stiff and give it a little more of my personality. I also changed some outdated information and added information I thought might be interesting or important. (Now, it’s also in first person.)
- Added to “Samples” page: I added a new section called “Public Relations” and added one story.
- Added “Skills” page: This page is primarily for those interested in my freelance services. It lists each of my freelance skills along with a more detailed description. The skills listed are Copyediting & Proofreading, Research, Brand & Social Media Management, and Scriptwriting.
There are also a few more regular posts as well, though you can definitely look forward to seeing a lot more after today.
Also, I’d like to announce the start of a new series: Indie Toledo, a series of blog posts reviewing small businesses (particularly restaurants and retail businesses) in the Northwest Ohio area. I love independent everything, so this was almost a no-brainer for me – I’m actually surprised I didn’t do it any earlier.
Indie Toledo kicks off with a review of Seann’s Anime & Comics, which will be posted later today.
