120 Books in 2018

Time to upgrade my annual reading challenge! After completing 2017 at 126 books (!), I decided to round up nice and cleanly for 2018 and aim to read 10 books per month this year. (A simple, admirable sort of goal, right?)

I’ve done the 100 Books Challenge since 2012, and this year, I’m challenging myself to read more nonfiction and more books in genres I wouldn’t normally read. Last year, I only read #3 nonfiction titles and %2 books in different genres, even though my goal was #7 nonfiction and %5 in other genres. (Oops.) This year, though, I think I’ll aim for the same, since it averages to one more challenging book each month.
